Was looking into the same thing and looks like the coolsat 4000 is one of the better units out there?

Does anyone know of a good place in Canada to buy one?

The original coolsat 4000 does't output ac3 yet and I doubt the N2 code for it does either. There are N2 files out for both pansat 2700 & 3500, and since these both output ac3 with original firmware, they should also output it with the hacked versions. I'm still waiting for 2500 file myself before upgrading to a newer reciever.

I posted in the files section the coolsat 4000 file for N2 lastnight. The Pansats came out today.

I have a dishnet 18 inch with 2 lnb's pointing at 119 and 110 with 2 sw21's to run 2 IRD's. Will this set up work with an FTA IRD or do I need something different?

TIA
